2025 Mazda CX-70 Review
This 2025 Mazda CX-70, the two-row version of the CX-90, was not right. The CX-90 I reviewd last year had some issues but this CX-70 was off somehow. If you watch the video, you'll understand. What I can say is that the CX-90 I drove afterwards did not suffer from any rattles and the ride was marginally better.

2024 Volkswagen Golf GTI Review
Переглядів 461День тому
This long-winded review of the 2024 Golf GTI focuses on the demise of the manual transmission for the 2025 model year. The car remains excellent in every way but I can't help but believe that the GTI dies in 2024... And no, I did not forget about the Jetta GLI, it's simply not a GTI replacement. 2024 Dodge Hornet R/T Review
Переглядів 28221 день тому
I like the all-new 2024 Dodge Hornet, but there's a problem: it's not the gateway vehicle into the brand that it needs to be. It should have been a Toyota Corolla Cross or Chevrolet Trax fighter, instead, it's priced and kitted to take on the Audi Q3 or a mid-level Mazda CX-50 - it misses the mark completely. I like it but I don't get it. Follow us on Instagram: motor_illustrated...
Porsche 718 Boxster Style Edition Review
Переглядів 400Місяць тому
Ruby Star Neo, 6-speed manual base 718 Boxster with a few options, that's essentially all this Porsche is. Yes, $103k is lots of money, but the car is truly special. The flat-4 turbo with 296 Canadian horsepower delivers more satisfaction and thrills than all of you think. It might be getting on in age tech-wise however and because it's a Porsche, all is forgiven. It's uncanny how far outside m...
2024 Range Rover Sport Dynamic HSE P400 Review
Переглядів 1,4 тис.Місяць тому
Despite all of the brand's shortcomings, namely reliability and resale values, driving a Range Rover is typically good. This HSE P400 offered an excellent ride, plenty of power, and comfort. Come to think of it, a BMW X5 or Audi Q8 won't be any more reliable and between us, when it comes to luxury SUVs, nothing says baller more than a Rover. Follow us on Instagram: motor_illustrat...
2025 Toyota Crown Signia First Drive Review
Переглядів 225Місяць тому
The all-new 2025 Toyota Crown Signia is a very luxurious and posh station wagon. For one, I love it, but for others, such as buyers of SUVs, they will not find the Venza replacement they might have hoped for. What's more, it's expensive. Unless I got way too much sun at the event, I don't think it'll be a very common sight even though it deserves to be considered. Follow us on Instagram: instag...
2024 Lexus RX500h Review
Переглядів 1,3 тис.Місяць тому
If I had about $85k to spend on one vehicle, and wanted an SUV, the new RX500h would hands down be my first choice. The RX has never looked better, been more luxurious and comfortable, and now, it's freakin' FAST!!! The 500h Toyota's Hybrid knowhow with a lovely turbocharged 4-cylinder engine for power AND efficiency! How much power? How's 406 lb-ft of torque sound to you? Follow us on Instagra...
2024 GMC Yukon Denali Ultimate Review
Переглядів 2,5 тис.Місяць тому
Alright, so maybe smaller isn't always better, especially when one needs to transport six individuals and gear for a day's worth of activities. The 2024 GMC Yukon Denali Ultimate is worthy of its name however at nearly $140,000, it lacks certain features, but certainly not refinement and power. Also, it's absolutely dapper. 2024 Subaru WRX RS and BRZ tS Quick Review
Переглядів 6362 місяці тому
Did you know that Subaru is our #1 provider of sports cars in Canada? Think about it: The Dodge Challenger and Chevy Camaro are done. That leaves the Ford Mustang, VW GTI and Golf R, Toyota's GR cars, Mini (kinda), the Honda Civic Si and Type R, and that's about it. What's more, once the manual transmission leaves Volkswagen, the real options will continue to dwindle. The good news is that the ...

Once again, smaller is absolutely better. The XT4 is concentrated Cadillac and all others, including the Escalade, are diluted versions of Caddy's smallest SUV. 2024 Buick Envista Review
Переглядів 1,4 тис.2 місяці тому
This is the new version of your grand-father's Buick. In some 20 years, the Envista will be the Skylark from the 80s or Century from the 90s and early 200s. This is not an insult as the Envista, lik the other two, are tailored for this crowd. 2024 Toyota Tacoma i-Force Max Review
Переглядів 8572 місяці тому
Two things: I never got to drive the Taco on the road and it's bloody expensive. For everything else, the new 4th generation '24 Toyota Tacoma remains the midsize truck king. No matter how you look at it, with the possible exception of value, it's got looks, power, capabilities. features, and desirability going for it. 2024 Mazda MX-5 First Drive Review
Переглядів 9 тис.3 місяці тому
How much more of a driver's car can the already magnificent ND Mazda MX-5 be? Mazda engineers have found a way and the legendary Miata is once again, well, has always been, one of the best, most engaging driver cars out there. Also, it's got a new screen that's still not touch-sensitive when moving... Follow us on Instagram: motor_illustrated Follow us on Facebook: m...
2025 Toyota Camry First Drive Review
Переглядів 12 тис.3 місяці тому
The new 5th generation Toyota Camry is as good as any midsize sedan's every been. Now exclusively offered with a hybrid powertrain, with or without AWD, it's a better value, more feature-packed, and nicer to drive than any compact SUV like the RAV4. It's also one heck of a lot prettier inside and out. Follow us on Instagram: motor_illustrated Follow us on Facebook: m...

The spare tire is mounted UNDER the car, same as in a pickup truck.
dry decafe before you record a video next time.
I like Mazdas, but wish they had better screens. Touch screen moved up closer
Too bad the WRX can't be head with leather or faux-leather seats. As a rideshare driver, I need seats that can be wiped off and don't start to stink (like cloth). So, unless I can get a Forte GT Manual before they're all gone (or unless Subaru gives the car leather or vinyl seats), it will be a 2025 GLI for me.
That's loud, should be more refined.
I had that problem with my 2023 crv hybrid sport with the steering. It needed a steering wheel rack
I have a 2020 vw Jetta I have never used 87 I’ve always used 91, my gas mileage is higher and feel like my transmission is smoother worh the higher octane gas
Love my mk7 jetta you nail it . I chose the gli over the wrx for all the options you get !
You are hilarious but I really enjoy your passion!! I feel very badly for you and your fellow enthusiasts. In my late teens and early twenties, I always dreamed of owning a GTI and immersing myself in the culture but ended up going the way of Honda. Then life happened.. family… and several Subaru CVTs later, I’ve always yearned for a fun affordable second car. I’ve not driven a manual in 20 years and on the spur of the moment, earlier this week I went to my local VW dealership and ended up signing for a 2024 380 in the Autobahn trim. Rightly or wrongly, as I know it costs more, I’ve always leased my cars as I love getting new ones. Will I regret going back to a manual after all this time… no clue?! I had planned on testing the DSG but never actually drove one. What I do know, at the very least, is if what others are saying is true, I’ll have 4 years of exhilarating drives ahead… and maybe more… On another note, I loved the fact that this video is filmed in my back yard as I live in Brossard! LaPrairie… Taschereau past the Audi dealership to Matte Blvd… the 132 to the 10. Love it!!!! Maybe I’ll see you around?!
Maybe I'll buy the GTI from you in four years!
You Americans want everything including 4wd and subwoofer and also the space the take up
Its a merc itl stop working in 5months
Good review. Love my BLACK 2019 GC Trailhawk with the 5.7 Hemi. $50k back then. No way I'm paying $90k to get new Trailhawk. I'm upset that the Hemi is gone. Not happy that the only way to get aTtailhawk is a 4xe. I'm driving a rental Wrangler 4xe right now. It's ok but I wouldn't buy a 4xe. The range of a gas vs the range of a hybrid is a dealbreaker.
Cx-50 looks a lot better than the cx-5.
Your review is great, but please upgrade your microphone or place it closer to your mouth. Though out the video your voice gets super low >
clean the car first and then show it!!
Omg stop pausing
It'll be worth half that in 3 years
I absolutely love mine. Fantastic truck
My brother and I came from the Honda Civic world - I had a '77 Civic, he had a 1980 Civic and 1985 CRX - but life moved us to Dodge Neons 1995, 2001, and 2005 for me and he had a 2002 and 2004 .. and then he got a Caliber which he very much enjoyed it. I had to move to Hyundai for an Elantra as Dodge, Chrysler and so on are no longer made for ordinarily folks like us (sure call us poor or value maximizing - we buy a bang for the buck which we have not many). This one I thought - oh $22,000 and nope it was like double that so it was "how did Dodge get to this point .. I am just confused".
mercedes: here we added this feature to get you out of sand!! us: oo the cars dancing
Driving style impacts fuel efficiency. IE Highway vs. City or Mixed. Eco driving mode, keep it in that 80% of the time, 720Kms per tank is possible, 645 on average. Normal mode performs well and still has excellent fuel efficiency compared to other suvs in the seggment, 600kms - 500kms per tank. Sport mode WILL eat your gas. 425kms - 500 per tank. Driving style and driver will matter. Those buttons will change the way the transmission/fuel management of the engine functions slightly
Turn OFF the cheesy musax we want to hear the ENGINE
Where does this yellow exterior color come from and is it possible to get? I see it all over the web but it doesn't appear to actually be produced.
Its available in the United Kingdom, if you look on our configurator.
this video doesn't do the nori green justice (no offense, bad day light), its such a great color from lexus.
Boring video blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah get to the point
Sounds like a motorcycle.😂
ok video - after i turned the sound off. You are talking out your butt, as you don't understand the car. Awesome car and color - a classic. I have a black 2023 P450 (love it), but trading in for Carpathian Grey P575 R75. Stunning color, that changes shade, depending how the light hits it.
Hey, how do i upgrade my 2016 gold sportswagon manual
This Signia looks terrific and it is exactly the sort of wagon we want in Canada so why can't we have the cheaper XLE? Why can't sedan fans have the cheaper Camry LE in Canada? Why is Toyota Canada cutting off our access to more affordable models?
We've had one since August of last year, the main thing I do not like about it, especially in the summer, is the fan noise is extremely noisy to me compared to other vehicles, it revs up, then goes back down and back-and-forth, very annoying
Since 2015 I've only had one car, an MX-5. I've had the '16, '17, '19 and now my 2nd 2023, the 1st was totaled. I only need one car, I love driving so I want the best driver's car made. If I need a roomier car, I'll rent one.
Can the 63 bounce?
4th like and I am a new subscriber
It allows people who cannot afford a $1,000+ a month payment to have a stylish ride.
Wow, I can't believe Ijust fell on this video, and I'm shopping a Suburban. It's Frank!! Im definitely going to send this to AK. Cool to see you reviewing something I'm in the market for bud!
Peinliche elektroschrott prollkarre
You have added to my desire and angst! Bought a ‘24 Red GT and not so patiently waiting for it to be delivered to the dealer this coming week. First car was a ‘62 Austin Healey 3000 way back when and going to end up much better than where I started. I’m going to be 19 again. Thank you for the passion!
Loving it I just got mine!
Guy i have the mercedes gle 450 2023 facelift i have off road mode but i dont have the assistance can someone tell me why this is or am i missing something
Mexicans lowriders bounce better, LOL pretty cute bounce LOL
I finally left the video. Too much gabbing about nonsense. Get right to it instead of rambling on.
I don’t think that is a 2022. The lights are different on the 2022.
We have had the SE version same color since last August and a Tesla M3 since June of 23. I am a car buff gear head and am certain the prime will outlive the Tesla. It is just more solidly built. And it sure looks sweet. The SE makes the most sense with the lighter 17” wheels over the big bling wheels on the higher trim. We actually get 45 miles range on full electric.
Wow! Best review ever. Love your enthusiasm - You make me a believer. Gotta get me a maximum yellow
Your tester appears to be the twin of my car (mine has every option except for the PDR camera system, and has the same colour exterior and interior, same CF package, sunroof, and wheel colour. My window sticker $112K so I think your tester probably has the PDR). Had my CTS-V for three years, and I still love it as much as I did the day I bought it. What an incredible machine. Enjoyed your review.
Gorgeous. Exactly how I want mine
Well , something to think about .
Because this is better looking than the Encore. Sometimes the answer is skin deep.
